Getting there

Nearest city: Harbin

  • By car: the resort is in Maoershan Town, Shangzhi, about 90 km from downtown Harbin, roughly 1 hour by expressway.
  • By shuttle bus: in season, daily ski buses run between downtown Harbin and the resort; book through the resort's WeChat account.

Where to stay

The resort's own hotel sits at the base for ski-and-stay trips; you can also stay in Harbin and ride the shuttle.

Highlights

  • A training base of Harbin Sport University and the main venue for snowboarding and other events at the 2009 Harbin Winter Universiade.

  • Tickets are sold by terrain level: beginner, lower-intermediate and intermediate tickets include basic rental gear, while the advanced all-mountain pass does not.
