Highlights
- A summit of 3,539 m and up to 1,314 m of vertical make it one of the highest-average-altitude resorts in China.
- The roughly 4.5 km Xiaerxili Run and the 2 km 1314 Run offer views over frozen Sayram Lake as you ski.
- Sightseeing gondolas climb to a viewing deck at about 3,500 m, so non-skiers can ride up for the lake view too.
Tips
- The summit tops 3,500 m with strong wind and low temperatures, so dress warmly and watch for altitude sickness.
- The resort can open as early as late October, but few runs are open early in the season, so check before you go.
